The Gila Wilderness, located in SW New Mexico, is home to some of the most remote elk country one can find. I just returned from my archery elk hunt and, as you can see, I was successful. The scenery was awesome and the elk hunting was action-packed with the rut in full swing. I will add a few trail camera pictures tomorrow.
