Memorial Day Weekend up the San Juan Arm

We just returned from our annual Memorial Day Weekend fishing trip and we had a great time up the San Juan Arm.  We had the entire Neskahi Wash  and Great Bend areas to ourselves and our group experienced quality fishing and camaraderie that they will not soon forget. Although I am relatively new to these trips, I cannot remember better fishing action for heavy smallmouth and largemouth bass within the past eleven years. Except for the ladder ball players, each fishing group experienced 100+ fish days for three consecutive days! Aggressive fish could be found around each brush pile and rock structure and many different species were caught as you can see from the pictures below. Needless to say, there were many smiles around the campfire each night. Pictured from left to right (top) are: Curtis, Scott, Cris(aka Toph), Jimbo, Mark, Kyle and (bottom) Jeff, Justin, and Jacob.
